Emergency Assistance
How We Can Help
Food
Many families in Moore County face food insecurity. The Coalition provides a standard food package—including perishable and nonperishable items—to feed a family for up to seven days. Clients may visit once per month for food assistance.
Clothing
We provide vouchers to shop at Miss Hallie’s and Cris & Florrie’s Boutique for seasonally appropriate clothing for children and adults. Linens (sheets, towels, blankets) and diapers (sizes newborn–6) are also available.
Financial Assistance
Unexpected expenses can be overwhelming. The Coalition offers limited financial assistance for essential needs, including electric, water, heating fuel, and rent in limited circumstances. Clients meet with a trained volunteer or staff member to evaluate their situation, and payments are made directly to providers when possible.
Resources & Referrals
We maintain a comprehensive Resource Guide with information on other nonprofits, affordable housing, and local services for low-income families. Each client’s needs are evaluated individually to connect them with the right support.
Eligibility: Clients must be residents of Moore County. Assistance varies based on individual circumstances.
