Volunteers make the Coalition possible! We offer a variety of opportunities and time commitments based on individual interests.
Greeter: Greet clients when they come for assistance, answer phones, and help clients complete forms, etc.
Screener: Interview clients to determine eligibility for assistance. Also facilitate necessary arrangements for services such as food, clothing, and financial help.
Clothing: Help clients select clothing or sort donations received from the community.
Food: Package food from the Coalition pantry for eligible clients.
Transportation: Drive clients to Carthage to apply for services including food stamps and run errands as needed.
Resale Shop: Price and sort donated items or assist in one of four resale shops.
